Youth HEAR is an organisation run by young adults for young adults. Through Holocaust education, commemoration and multicultural engagement, we empower young adults to speak out against hatred and become active upstanders in society.

We’re looking for an experienced leader to join our team and help carry this work forward.

About the role
This is a 3 days per week, 12 month fixed term role based in Sydney (hybrid), starting by mid-November 2026. You’ll chair our Management Committee, support and lead our incredible volunteer members, and oversee our NSW events and programs while our current GM is on parental leave.

About you
You're an experienced operational leader who's comfortable chairing meetings, supporting and leading people, and making decisions when they're needed. You've delivered events or programs on time and on budget, you know how to work with volunteers and community partners, and you can step into an established team and build trust quickly. Most of all, you care about standing up against hate and feel connected to our mission, values and vision.
